Khabib Nurmagomedov and Conor McGregor as Ultimate Fighter coaches would shatter all viewership records

If there is someone in the world Khabib Nurmagomedov would probably never reconcile with – it would be Conor McGregor. The pair’s relationship went for a toss when McGregor attacked a bus carrying Khabib and teammates.

Khabib then schooled McGregor at UFC 229 that same year. An ugly post-fight brawl followed and is considered to be one of the most controversial moments in the history of the promotion.

In a recent exclusive interview with ESPN, Khabib revealed if he would ever return to the UFC and share the screen alongside McGregor as the coach in The Ultimate Fighter.

Khabib claimed that he would never do such a thing even if he was offered a whopping $5 billion or in fact the entire UFC. ‘The Eagle’ felt that

“‘The Ultimate Fighter’ with him is good attention for him. I don’t want to give him this. I never give him this. Even if they give me $5 billion — even if they gave me the UFC — I never do this. This is good attention for him.” [via ESPN]

Khabib went on to say that he felt absolutely no need in facing McGregor again.

Khabib Nurmagomedov claims Dana White still wants him to return to the UFC

Khabib Nurmagomedov might have retired from the sport of mixed martial arts a while ago. But, that doesn’t stop the media from asking the Russian if he would ever come back to the UFC.

In fact, UFC President Dana White himself is still wanting the UFC lightweight GOAT to return to the promotion.

Speaking about this in an interview with UFC Russia, Khabib said:

“You know, a few days ago, I don’t know whether I can go on record…Abdelaziz called me a few weeks ago. He asked me, ‘Do you know what Dana White asked me?’ and told me, ‘Why does Khabib never ask me how much money I can offer for his return?’ I asked Abdelaziz, ‘This is the question for me through you or what?’ And he told me, ‘Nah, Dana just asked me.’” [UFC Russia YouTube]
