Football fanatic Khabib Nurmagomedov in attendance for the Manchester United vs Everton fixture
UFC lightweight GOAT Khabib Nurmagomedov is one of the biggest football fans in the world.
The retired fighter has very often expressed his love for the sport, often claiming that he preferred ‘The Beautiful Game’ to MMA.
A massive fan of Portugal and Manchester United Ace, Cristiano Ronaldo, Khabib has time and again mentioned the admiration he had for CR7’s work ethic.
And, during his free time, ‘The Eagle’ makes sure that he catches football games at the stadium.
More recently, Khabib made his trip to the ‘Theatre of Dreams’ – Old Trafford, ahead of Manchester United’s matchday 7 fixture against Everton.
Manchester United’s official Twitter handle welcomed the consensus UFC GOAT (?) to ‘Old Trafford’. Khabib was seen posing with a picture of a customised jersey with his name sporting the number 7.
“Welcome to Old Trafford, Khabib”
Khabib Nurmagomedov slightly disappointed that Cristiano Ronaldo didn’t start
Cristiano Ronaldo is 36 years old now. However, he has shown no signs of slowing down. He’s been banging in the goals, week in and week out.
Having only featured in the midweek Champions League fixture against Villarreal CF, Manu’s manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer decided to rest CR7 against Everton, meaning he will probably be coming off from the bench.
Khabib expressed his disappointment at the Portuguese frontman not starting. Another big name, Paul Pogba was rested as well.
However, Khabib pacified himself with the fact that ‘El Don’ would come on in the second half as a substitute.
