Khabib Nurmagomedov at an Eagle Fighting Championship event
Khabib Nurmagomedov has picked the winner for the highly anticipated final between Italy and England at Euro 2020
Euro 2020 is nearing its conclusion. Just two teams remain as the Three Lions will be squaring off against the Azzurri at the Wembley Stadium, in England.
This will be England’s first-ever appearance in a Euro final. Italy, on the other hand, will be looking forward to beating the youthful and boisterous England squad with their experience.
Several stars have already given their predictions for the high-voltage clash, and recently UFC lightweight GOAT Khabib Nurmagomedov picked the winner of Euro 2020.
In a video posted by BT Sport, Khabib can be seen picking England to trump Italy and then going on to explain why he felt so. He could also be seen dropping some serious football knowledge bombs in the video.
He was quoted as saying:
“England have very good and young team…They’re gonna play at home. Last time when they won the title it was 1966 I think…After that they haven’t won anything…Italy I think have a big chance, because they have experience…My opinion, England have to win, because they have speed. Italy have experience…But England have a very good young and fast team. I hope England are gonna win. I think they deserve it.”
Abdelaziz is no slouch. He doesn’t like others talking smack about his clients.
In a recent interview with Ariel Helwani of BT Sport, McGregor claimed that Khabib has done nothing valuable to the sport.
These comments didn’t sit well with Abdelaziz, as he hit back at McGregor claiming that ‘The Russian’ was superior to him in all walks of life.
Abdelaziz tweeted:
“”@TheNotoriousMMA stop talking about Khabib , the guy who embarrassed you in front of your whole country men and he took your soul , he is your superior in everything in life b**** @TeamKhabib.”
