Khabib Nurmagomedov reveals the highest weight he has ever been

Khabib Nurmagomedov had a long chat about wreslter’s weights and finally about his own weight

Khabib who recently retired from the sport of MMA, has been keeping himself busy with a plethora of activities.

He has already coached several teammates of his to victories in various promotions, plays football whenever possible, promoting his own MMA promotion – Eagle Fighting Championship regularly, and a lot more.

The Dagestani never fails to train. Though he might look plump compared to his in-ring physique, the reality is that he stays in shape in his walk-around weight.

In a recent interview with RT Sport, Khabib was asked if this was the highest he has ever weighed. While everyone expected a yes from ‘The Eagle’, he surprisingly claimed that he had weighed more than this 4 years before.

He then went on to explain that a back surgery in 2017, had put him completely at rest, with no running and no workouts. Khabib revealed that he weighed around 203lbs then, but made weight at 155lbs in December, that same year (Against Edson Barboza).

“No. I’ve weighed more. That was 2017, when I had back surgery. When I was given a fight on August 31st, I weighed 203 lbs. Then on December 29th, I weighed 155. I weighed my most because when I had surgery, I couldn’t run or lift weights for 5-6 months. Now, I weigh a lot less.” [via RT Sport]

Khabib Nurmagomedov confirms Floyd Mayweather fight offer

In the same interview, Khabib confirmed that he had received an offer to fight boxing great Floyd Mayweather. While he did say that huge money was offered to him, he revealed that it wasn’t exactly $100 million as everyone thought.

Khabib said:

“The enticement is always there. There were such discussions with Saudi Arabia. They wanted me to fight there. I don’t know about $100 million. That was not the exact amount, but [somewhere] around that.”

Mayweather is currently set to face YouTube sensation Logan Paul in an exhibition boxing match on the 6th of June at Hard Rock Stadium, Miami.
