Khabib Nurmagomedov continues to enjoy his football training after retiring from UFC
It is no hiding that Khabib Nurmagomedov is a big football fan. He has posted various photos with a football on his Instagram feed, and is an avid Real Madrid supporter.
The Russian MMA icon was spotted with Real Madrid legend Clarence Seedorf a couple of weeks ago. The two took part in a football game in Dubai, and Khabib had some skills of his own to show off.
The former UFC lightweight fighter particularly got people talking with a quick burst of pace down the left flank. And now, he posted another video where he is supposedly training for football.
The video is most likely posted in humour. Khabib is just jogging down a barren land and has captioned it saying that he is training for football.
“Preparing for my football debut ⚽️. I’m free agent, and ready to accept offers.”

He has also jokingly added that he is now a “free agent” and is ready to accept offers from football teams.
Well, at 32, his dreams of football may be coming just a tad too late. But the wrestling giant is incredibly fit and agile, a fact which can be corroborated by his unfathomable 29-0-0 professional MMA record.
Khabib retired from UFC after his win against Justin Gaethje at UFC 254 in October 2020. The lightweight champion retired with a perfect MMA record and as one of the greatest to grace the octagon.
He is now touted to make a comeback on UFC. GSP and Conor McGregor were tipped to be his potential opponents, but the latter might be out of the running after his loss to Dustin Poirier last weekend.
