Khabib Nurmagomedov faced Tony Ferguson in a UFC 249 press conference but took a shot at Dana White’s car too

UFC Lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov was in no mood to mess around at the UFC 249 press conference.

A lot was said between Tony Ferguson and Khabib with the champion even kicking one of Tony’s belts off the stage.

Khabib spoke about why he got angry with Ferguson later with ESPN, however, he seemed ready for a fight throughout the day.

He first threatened to smash the car of Dana White, something he has wanted to do a while back.

This was possibly a joke as Khabib wanted to know where the press conference location was, and his caption also sent out the same message.

Many fans believed that Khabib would have destroyed the black car of White, however, the champion was only joking.

Khabib then shared a picture of him with White and said that the car was fine.

This isn’t the first time Khabib has threatened to destroy White’s car, and that could be a PPV in itself.

Ferguson waiting in the wings

Although Khabib seems to be in a great mood now, it was far from the case during the press conference.

He was unhappy with Ferguson calling him out and suggesting that Khabib would be destroyed in a street fight.

However, Khabib claimed that Ferguson could never have been in a street fight in the USA. The champion claimed that he was always involved in fights while growing up in Dagestan.

Khabib vs Ferguson has been in the works four times in the past. However, the matches were called off due to injuries to both fighters on separate occasions.

There is one month left before UFC 249 takes place and hopefully, the fighters stay fit for the clash.
