Khabib Nurmagomedov celebrates Real Madrid’s massive La Liga win by tagging Karim Benzema
Former UFC lightweight champion, Khabib Nurmagomedov, is a big fan of football. He has been pictured in various stadiums to watch teams like PSG and Barcelona play.
He has also had several signed shirts sent to him by footballing superstars, because after all, he too is a massive name globally for his exploits in MMA.
And his love affair with football has only continued in the past few years. He even went on to reveal how he likes football more than MMA because it’s not so violent.
He is an avid fan of Real Madrid, having been pictured with their legend, Cristiano Ronaldo, in the post along with his jersey.
The Russian apparently watches them play on his television set whenever he can as he was on hand to celebrate a massive win for Los Galacticos on Saturday.
Khabib Nurmagomedov tags goalscorer Karim Benzema after El Clasico win
Madrid beat Barcelona 2-1 to gain a massive 3 points in what could be the telling game in the race for La Liga this season.
And ‘The Eagle’ reacted to the win by tagging Karim Benzema in his Instagram story as he shared a photo of the Frenchman’s goal against the Catalan club.
The result sees Madrid go at the top of the La Liga table. They are now level on points with city rivals, Atletico Madrid, but have played one match more than them.
As for Khabib, he retired officially from MMA last month and has dedicated his time to coaching his teammates.
And it seems that the Russian superstar will now also have more time to follow his favourite team on television!
