Khabib Nurmagomedov sent a warning to UFC asking them to have their fighters treated properly
Khabib Nurmagomedov’s Eagle FC has landed on American soil. Their 44th event will take place in Miami, Florida at the FLX Arena in some time.
Ahead of the big event, Khabib took time to answer questions during media day.
Flanked by new-recruits Kevin Lee and Diego Sanchez who were once a part of the UFC, ‘The Eagle’ issued a warning to top MMA promotions viz. UFC, Bellator, stating that they would have to be careful with the way they treat their fighters.
The former lightweight champion revealed that the door would always be open to fighters who feel they are not treated the way they deserve to be.
He was quoted as saying:
“I think big organizations like UFC, Bellator, they have to be careful with their fighters because Eagle FC is here…I just wanna say be careful. If they don’t treat their fighters good, Eagle FC is here.”
Jake Paul accepts Khabib Nurmagomedov’s offer but on one condition
Whilst there have been no signs of the UFC even remotely considering letting Jake Paul fight in their promotion, Khabib Nurmagomedov told ‘The Problem Child’ that Eagle FC always had their door open for him.
Khabib’s Tweet read:
“The doors of @EagleFightClub always open for you and your team.”
Paul responded to Khabib in Russian, which when translated read:
“Deal. only if I fight you first.”
Khabib never responded to the YouTuber after that.
