Tony Ferguson faces Beneil Dariush in his next fight but El Cucuy still has Khabib Nurmagomedov on his mind

Tony Ferguson is coming back to the Octagon to face a tough Beneil Dariush but El Cucuy cannot avoid taking shots at Khabib Nurmagomedov.

The pair never got to meet in the Octagon, despite their fight being scheduled five times. Khabib recently made his UFC retirement official and we will never see him take on Ferguson.

However, El Cucuy won’t let this go and had another pop at The Eagle. Ferguson has made it a habit to showcase one incident where the fight was called off and it was blamed on Khabib not being able to cut weight properly.

Ferguson shared the video, again, on social media and used the same set of tags and hashtags that have been used in the past.

While Khabib has normally avoided responding to these call-outs, The Eagle decided to take a huge dig at his former rival.

Khabib brought up how dangerous Dariush is and that Ferguson should concentrate on his next fight.

He also wished Ferguson’s family well but didn’t like how his former rival looked:

Tony Ferguson has to be wary of Beneil Dariush

Dariush might be ranked #9 in the UFC Lightweight division, but the 31-year-old has been in great form.

The American is on a six-fight win streak and he will face Ferguson at UFC 262. Ferguson, for his part, is on a two-fight losing streak but more importantly, he has been dominated in both of those clashes.

Ferguson lost to Justin Gaethje first and then was dismantled by Charles Oliveira.

While Ferguson is coming with a couple of losses under his belt, he still is one of the most dangerous men in the Octagon.

Ferguson can pull a rabbit out of a hat, and he might need something like that to beat a game Dariush.
