Ali Abdelaziz has been in a war of words with Conor McGregor for a long time

The UFC has been in a lock-down since UFC Brasilia but Ali Abdelaziz still has time to taunt Conor McGregor with every breath he takes.

Khabib Nurmagomedov’s manager has taken on McGregor several times on social media and during interviews too.

He recently replied to a tweet from McGregor where the manager reminded him of tapping out to Khabib at UFC 229.

That was one of the greatest UFC fights ever as Khabib remained undefeated and beat one of the best in the world.

McGregor tapped out to Khabib at UFC 229 too. Something that Abdelaziz was quick to remind people.

ESPN has shared old footage of matches, and they did the same for UFC 229 too. Abdelaziz certainly loved this moment from the fight and claimed McGregor tapping out was “one of the best days of my life.”

Post-match brawl

The clipping ended with Khabib throwing something at Conor’s coaches but the fighting didn’t end there.

Nurmagomedov ended up jumping over the Octagon and attacked others in the audience. While McGregor also was involved in a fracas.

However, that depends on several factors. Khabib faces Tony Ferguson at UFC 249 and has to win that clash first.

McGregor, for his part, could face Justin Gaethje in his next fight. However, there is no guarantee that UFC 249 will take place.

Dana White recently said that three UFC events were postponed. He also wasn’t sure that UFC 249 would take place on its 18 April date.

The coronavirus pandemic has played havoc with travel and things have to improve before sporting activities resume.
