Conor McGregor and Ali Abdelaziz have shared a lot of words between them in recent years

Ali Abdelaziz might be known as Khabib Nurmagomedov’s manager but the Egyptian has also fought a lot of battles with Conor McGregor.

Those haven’t come in the Octagon but mostly via interviews and social media. The pair have said a lot about each other and things took another turn recently.

McGregor has been trying to keep things positive regarding the coronavirus outbreak. Most UFC stars are having to train on their own as gyms are closed and fights are being postponed.

The UFC 249 fight between Khabib and Tony Ferguson is still expected to go ahead, and McGregor could face the winner of that.

The Irishman recently posted a positive update of him coming out on top of the coronavirus pandemic. Conor also claimed that he would come out of it like Bruce Lee.

The Irishman has often said that Lee is one of his inspirations and he tries to take as much as he can from the legendary martial artist and actor.

That tweeted didn’t go well with Abdelaziz as he reminded McGregor of an infamous fight.

McGregor taps to Khabib

Khabib vs McGregor was possibly the biggest UFC fight for years as the Russian defended his Lightweight title against the Irishman.

The UFC 229 match seemed to be going Khabib’s way, even though the Russian lost one round to McGregor.

However, the main incident took place in the fourth round. McGregor tapped to Khabib in a neck crank, and that led to a massive brawl afterwards.

McGregor. returned to the UFC and beat Donald Cerrone in under 50 seconds and seems set for another big match.

He could be up against Khabib should the Russian beat Tony Ferguson. However, the American could end up facing McGregor is he wins at UFC 249.
