Khama Worthy lost his last fight but is keen on ending the year with a bang
Khama Worthy was one of the rising stars in the UFC as he made a huge impression in the promotion after joining.
The Deathstar, as he is called, was on a five-fight win streak before signing with the UFC. He won his UFC debut against Devonte Smith and then got the better of Luis Pena in his next outing as well.
However, Worthy’s last fight against Ottman Azaitar didn’t go as planned. The 34-year-old lost the fight in the first round due to a TKO.
The two were to initially face at Fight Night: Overeem vs Sakai. However, it was shifted to another card without a reason why. This clash took place in September and the Deathstar wants more.
He tweeted out to Dana White and Sean Shelby about wanting to fight in December. However, Worthy confirmed that he doesn’t have a rival yet but was open to the UFC finding one for him.
Worthy also added that this was going to be his return, and it will be interesting to see if the UFC has plans for him:

A great streak ends
Worthy was on a seven-fight win streak coming up to Azaitar. This loss might have broken that incredible streak up but credit must be given to Worthy for wanting to get back to fighting so quickly.
The 34-year-old currently has an MMA record of 16 wins and seven losses and a UFC record of 2-1.
Worthy has won titles in other promotions and it will be interesting to see who he could come up with next.
The Deathstar has been impressive in his short stay in the UFC and the ball is in the promotion’s court.
