Dillon Danis claimed he would submit Khamzat Chimaev easily
UFC star Khamzat Chimaev didn’t seem to take too kindly to some comments made by rival Dillon Danis on social media.
Danis, who is 2-0 in his MMA career, tweeted that he would submit the fast-rising Chimaev easily.
The American isn’t in the UFC and fights on Bellator. Danis has beaten Kyle Walker and Max Humphrey in his last two fights.
Chimaev, for his part, is also 2-0 in his UFC career. However, the Swede is 8-0 overall and has fought his last two clashes in a span of 10 days.
Not only that, he wanted the second fight right after the first one. To further complicate things, both the fights were in different weight classes but Chimaev completely dominated his opponents right from the first minute.
The Swede wants to fight more and responded to Danis’ claims. Khamzat seems to have a trademark slogan/word that he brings up while speaking and that is “smash”.
The 26-year-old said he would smash Danis with his eyes closed:
I smash you with my eyes closed!!!

Chimaev ready for his next fight
While some fans mocked Danis for calling out Chimaev, it is unlikely they will meet unless one of them switches promotions.
Nevertheless, Chimaev is keen for another UFC fight and there are suggestions he could be in action at UFC 252.
Chimaev could fight either in August or September, and it will be interesting to see who he might face next. The Swede has already called out Brazilian legend Demian Maia and that should be an amazing clash.
The UFC has found their next big star and Chimaev is keen on winning a title. Chimaev has claimed he could win the Welterweight or Middleweight title, and he has already sent a notice to many UFC stars.
