Khamzat Chimaev wants to face Nate and Nick Diaz after winning his next fight
Rising UFC star Khamzat Chimaev has grand plans after winning his next fight. The 8-0 Swedish star has taken the promotion by storm and won both his fights in the promotion.
This came in the span of 10 days and in two different weight classes. Chimaev destroyed both his opponents and has a tough battle against Gerald Meerschaert next. However, Dana White has taken this crazy decision of planning Chimaev’s next fight too.
The UFC president confirmed that once Chimaev wins this fight, he would face MMA veteran Demian Maia.
However, Chimaev has further plans for his future. The Swedish star recently posted on Twitter that he wanted to face both the Diaz brothers on the same night after he beat Maia.
Nick Diaz recently was seen working out and his agent confirmed that he is looking for a return in 2021.
His brother, Nate, hasn’t fought since losing the BMF title clash to Jorge Masvidal. However, he too is ready for a return and wants a piece of the action.
Chimaev has been impressive but it is certainly interesting that he wants three fights in one night and all in the Welterweight division.

Chimaev getting ahead of himself?
While the Swede is one of the stars from the recent coronavirus, locked-down version of the UFC, this might be too much for him. Chimaev knows how to talk the talk but taking on Maia will be a real test of his abilities.
Not to forget, Meerschaert is a tough beast too and Chimaev first has to defeat the American. White knows he has a big star on his hands but the Diaz brothers are money makers too.
It will be interesting to see who the brothers face, but they have a ton of options with Conor McGregor also hinting at a UFC return.
