Khamzat Chimaev has targeted Conor McGregor and several other UFC stars in recent weeks

Rising UFC star Khamzat Chimaev seems to have finally gotten his wish to fight Conor McGregor. Chimaev has been calling out the former UFC champion on social media, and recently posted about fighting someone else too.

The 26-year-old tagged Dana White and named Nate Diaz, Jorge Masvidal and McGregor. He even claimed that he wasn’t arrogant but confident of beating them but understood if the trio were afraid of him.

While McGregor retired from fighting in June 2020, he has pulled out such stunts in the past too. The Notorious One posted a tweet where he suggested that he accepted something, and many believe he is open for a fight.

Chimaev fight told McGregor to beg him before asking the Irishman to call his uncle, White, for the fight:

“Call your uncle @danawhite I will be ready.”

Third fight in less than a month

Chimaev has certainly made a huge impact in less than a month in the UFC. He is 2-0 in the promotion and 8-0 in his career.

However, the impressive bit about his UFC career has been the way he has destroyed opponents. Chimaev also took his second UFC fight 10 days after the first one and dominated his rival too.

The 26-year-old Swede got the wins in two different divisions and it will be interesting to see what is next.

McGregor vs Chimaev would be a blockbuster event, and there are reports that Chimaev could fight in August or September.

The UFC hasn’t seen such a big impact come from a fighter in recent years, and they could milk this moment to ensure a huge PPV.
