Laura Sanko wants to commentate on PPVs but she doesn’t feel it will happen with Joe Rogan

Laura Sanko has broken many glass ceilings in the UFC. The 40-year-old has become one of the biggest and most followed names in the MMA circuit thanks to her stellar work.

She used to be an interviewer and reporter before finally getting a chance to be part of the commentary team.

She was the colour commentator at UFC Fight Night 218 and this was the first time a female commentator was part of the show since UFC 1.

Sanko has also spoken about possibly doing pay-per-views and even Jon Anik recently spoke about the possibility.

Anik was more than happy to share the desk with her. However, while speaking to MMA Junkie, Sanko brought up that one deal might not happen.

She was asked about possibly doing commentary with Joe Rogan. Rogan is one of the most outspoken people in the world thanks to his podcast and more. However, while Sanko confirmed that commentary with Rogan was on her bucket list, she didn’t think it would happen:

“I don’t think they would ever put us together.”

“Joe doesn’t do the internationals, which if I had to guess, that would be where they put me first but who knows?”

It is to be seen what happens next for the rising commentator. Rogan doesn’t do the non-American PPVs and the American PPVs mostly have Daniel Cormier alongside Rogan and Anik.

Laura Sanko and Jon Anik to team up?

Many have spoken about Sanko taking the step up and doing a PPV. Not only is she great on the microphone, she has a lot of technical knowledge too.

Sanko is a regular MMA practitioner who often shares images and videos from her sparring sessions. Some of those have also led to minor injuries but that hasn’t stopped Sanko from her UFC duties.

She was asked in the same interview about possibly working with Anik, and she was waiting for that day to come:

“I really look forward to the day I can sit alongside him.”

She also claimed that she was manifesting Anik in the vision and that could happen soon.
