UFC presenter Laura Sanko decided to take in some rays at Fight Island ahead of UFC 254.

The former MMA star has taken up her reporting role extremely well and Dana White had also suggested she could be the first female commentator for the UFC.

While Sanko still has some way to go before she takes up that role, she did have some thoughts ahead of UFC 254.

The big talking point in Justin Gaethje vs Khabib Nurmagomedov. Khabib is undefeated in his MMA career while many believe that Gaethje could be the one who defeats Khabib.

The fight is going to be an incredible affair, to say the least, and Sanko believed that Gaethje could provide some problems for Khabib:

“I’m not making a pick here but I will say that I think Justin Gaethje has a very dangerous combination of skills that Khabib has yet to face…can he be the first?”

The first is a reference to Khabib not having tasted defeat in his MMA career. Sanko also wanted to know who would come out on top in the Jared Cannonier vs Robert Whittaker fight.

A battle for the ages

Khabib vs Gaethje has been promoted extensively since the American defeated Tony Ferguson. The wrestling background of Gaethje is supposed to give Khabib a run for his money, and Sanko isn’t far off by saying that the American has some great skills.

Khabib, for his part, has taken on all comers and dominated most of them. The Russian is 28-0 in his MMA career and is keen to retire with an unblemished record.

Gaethje vs Khabib has all the ingredients to be an amazing fight. Fight Island is also the perfect venue for this and it is a fight that is too close to call.
