The Rafael dos Anjos vs Paul Felder scorecard saw one judge give the fight to the American

UFC judges have been in the line of fire for a while and many stars took a shot at one judge after the scorecard for the Rafael dos Anjos vs Paul Felder clash was released.

Although the fight went the distance, it was Felder who was dominated by Dos Anjos. However, one judge didn’t seem to catch that and scored the fight in Felder’s favour.

Chris Lee scored the fight 48-47 for Felder and that led to a lot of commotion from some UFC stars. The other judges gave a score of 50-45 each to Dos Anjos and the Brazilian got the win via a split decision.

Dos Anjos should have won the clash via a unanimous decision, something that many spoke up about.

Stars not happy with judge

As stated, this isn’t the first time such a score has happened in the UFC. Many have questioned judges in the past and Gilbert Burns was the first to rip into Lee.

The No.1 Contender for the Welterweight title called out Dana White and did not want such judges deciding who gets the win:

Burns also retweeted the scorecard and wanted to know the credentials of Lee by using a classic Conor McGregor quote.

Lauren Murphy was also quick to point out that judges needed to be more accountable for their scores and explain their decisions too:

Derek Brunson also didn’t back the judges and claimed that, at best, the best score for Felder should have been a 49-46 in favour of Dos Anjos.

Thankfully, this judge didn’t cause Dos Anjos to loss, which would have been a travesty. The UFC has had a lot of controversy regarding their scores and this is another one that gets added to the list.
