Marvin Vettori has gotten tired of waiting for his next fight and has called out Impa Kasanganay
The Italian Dream, Marvin Vettori, has again hit out at the UFC for not handing him his next fight.
The 26-year-old won his last fight, against Karl Roberson, in excellent fashion but hasn’t been able to find his next opponent.
Vettori has called out several stars, including former champion Chris Weidman, but has mostly been ignored.
The UFC hasn’t done much to set up a fight and the Italian has been doing all he can to find an opponent.
Impa Kasanganay, who has impressed in the UFC so far, has accepted Vettori’s call and the Italian was again open to fighting him.
Vettori has called out Kasanganay in the past too, but he explained why he was willing to fight someone new.
Vettori’s last fight came in June and he was open to fighting Kasanganay, who was below him, just to stay active.
The Italian claimed he was willing to prove his abilities time and again. However, he wasn’t pleased with the top 15 in his division relaxing and playing Call of Duty:
While Kasanganay is a newcomer into the UFC, he has been impressive. The 26-year-old is undefeated in his MMA career and is 8-0.
Kasanganay won his debut UFC fight too and won both his Contender clashes too to get a contract.
It will be interesting to see how this fight could go. Vettori has more to lose than Kasanganay but an impressive win for the Italian could open more doors for him.
Kasanganay could prove he is someone that should be taken seriously and could get into the rankings too if he beats Vettori.
