Marvin Vettori finally makes it to UFC 4 as update 8.0 sees Max Holloway get an upgrade

Marvin Vettori had called out EA Sports about his exclusion from the UFC 4 roster but he has been added after update 8.0

UFC 4 update 8.0 seems set to hit the consoles soon as many stars were added to the game. EA Sports has made it a habit of adding stars after the release of their games, and it is the same with UFC 4.

The January 2021 update had seen the addition of a few fighters and a throwback Conor McGregor. That didn’t get a lot of positive reactions from the fans as they wanted more stars to be included in the game.

Marvin Vettori was one conspicuous absence given how great he has been in the Middleweight division. The Italian Dream had called out the UFC and EA Sports in the past and he now joins the roster as a 4-star fighter.

Vettori isn’t the only one joining the roster of UFC 4 as Light Heavyweight star Aleksandar Rakic also is part of the game with a 4-star rating.

Vettori is one of the rising stars in the division but that wasn’t the only move made by EA Sports in update 8.0.

Max Holloway is a 5-star fighter

5-star fighters in UFC 4 are a little rare since they are the best in the game. However, one recent star was made into a 5-star fighter, possibly after his win over Calvin Kattar.

Holloway was in exceptional form in that clash and could have put in one of the performances of the year already.

The former Featherweight Champion has been looking to get back in the title scene and this win has put him right back into it.

Holloway also took a slight dig at Daniel Cormier during the reveal but he was handed a special chain by EA Sports and UFC 4 for reaching 5-stars.

UFC 4 is the latest game from EA Sports for all fans of the promotion. There are some former stars in the game too with Brock Lesnar featuring as well while fans can play as their dream UFC fighter.
