Marvin Vettori goes on a violent ‘Mike Tyson’-esque rant following UFC 263 weigh-ins

Marvin Vettori has planned to end Israel Adesanya in a violent way

Hardly a day before Marvin Vettori and Israel Adesanya face-off in the main event of UFC 263. Vettori will be challenging for Adesanya’s middleweight title, in a rematch.

This will be Adesanya’s third title defense, and the ‘Last Stylebender’ is coming off a failed bid due to a loss in the light-heavyweight division. The Nigerian aiming to become the LHW champ, took on Jan Blachowicz at UFC 259, only to be tamed by the Pole.

Vettori, on the other hand, hasn’t lost since his split decision loss to Israel Adesanya in 2018. He has been on a five-match win streak since that night in April 2018.

And now, it seems like there is a lot of bad blood between the two fighters. Following the UFC 263 weigh-ins, Vettori sat down with the UFC analyst crew comprised of Paul Felder, Laura Sanko and others, and had only violent things to say about Adesanya.

An angry Vettori said:

“I wanna eat him with my eyes when I see him. Look through his soul and just eat him. Tame this m*therf*cker. That’s what I want to do. Just eat him alive.”

Those lines were very similar to Mike Tyson’s angry speech, when he called out Lennox Lewis.

Israel Adesanya screams “Roid Rage” at the pre-fight presser

Adesanya was all over Vettori at the pre-fight presser, even as the security guards tried their best to stop Vettori from charging at Izzy, which they eventually did.

Adesanya said:

“What’s he gonna do…Try it again…try me again. Look at him, you know what that’s called, that’s called roid rage. That’s called roid rage. Try me again, that ain’t caffeine, that’s roid rage b*tch.”

Just a night’s sleep left!
