Conor McGregor says a rematch with Max Holloway is on the cards

UFC lightweight fighter Conor McGregor was giving an interview to UFC Arabia ahead of his UFC 257 main event clash.

The Notorious One is scheduled to take on Dustin Poirier this weekend in the main event of the PPV. The winner of the bout would be in the running for a title shot at the lightweight belt.

However, his interview had one blooper that made everyone grin, including the Irishman himself. He was inadvertently interrupted by fellow UFC fighter Max Holloway.

McGregor paused the interview and asked the presenter if it was someone skateboarding outside, to which she replied that it could be Blessed, since he had been skateboarding recently.

Conor McGregor vs Max Holloway 2 on the cards?

It all made for a very wholesome watch. And just at the end of the snippet, McGregor even said that a fight with Holloway could be on the cards.

“That’s Max Holloway on a skateboard, that’s brilliant. I’ll tell you what, Max had a great fight; he’s in the pipeline for sure. Me and Max would do it again.”

To this, Blessed replied with boxing gloves emojis and a medal. He is surely up for a fight if it ever takes place in the near future.

He also shared a hilarious GIF from The Simpsons where Bart checks out a rival skateboarding outside his house.

The Irishman and Holloway have, of course, fought once in the past. The two squared off at UFC Fight Night 26 in August 2013.

This is called by many as the fight that made McGregor. The 15-minute war was won by the Irishman via a unanimous decision. And the rest, from there on, is history.

Both of them are still going strong. Holloway recently had an insane fight against Calvin Kattar at Fight Island 7. And McGregor, as we know, is on course to be fighting for the lightweight title again.
