Former UFC middleweight champion Michael Bisping and Jake Paul locked horns on Twitter and expressed their willingness to fight each other
Jake Paul shook the world when he knocked out Tyron Woodley at their rematch, and the ‘Problem Child’ hasn’t fought since then. But he sure knows the fight game inside out by now, and has some imprudent plans for 2022.
The Youtuber turned boxer made an appearance on The Fight podcast with Teddy Atlas and Ken Rideout. He was asked about his business plan, his journey in boxing so far, and the potential names of opponents for the future.
Paul replied by saying, “Yeah, we are still locking down opponents, you know. There’s a lot of names…You know Floyd Mayweather…De La Hoya, Anderson Silva… Tyson Fury,Michael Bisping, Sunny Williams out of Australia. So there is a lot of people in the hit list and um, the other names that we’re talking to, you know… Just trying to pick the biggest opponent right. Everyone I have fought, and I am not trying to be like arrogant but everyone I have fought, I have carried the promotion… No one has matched my star. No one has matched my power. So looking for that opponent that can match my star power. “
Michael Bisping reacts to Jake Paul’s hit list by using Khabib’s famous catchphrase
Bisping was quick to respond to Jake’s idea of fighting him on Twitter. He reacted to the news first by using Khabib’s famous words ‘ Send location’, made famous when he got into the infamous bus mishap with rival Conor Mcgregor.
Bisping had previously poked fun at Paul’s choice of opponents, who were natural welterweight and smaller than him. He even said that there’s zero possibility that Jake would consider fighting him. He posted another tweet by saying, ‘😂😂😂 come on @jakepaul you do know I’m about your size? Surely that excludes me from your “hit list”
The Problem Child responded to Bisping’s mockery by bringing up the Brit’s brutal knockout loss against Dan Henderson. He even claimed Bisping to be an easy fight and said, ‘ I would knock you out worse than Hendo. You’re an easy fight. But show me you can get licensed and I will show you $1M plus PPV… 👀 (using this emoji because Bisping can’t use it lololololol)’
