Michael Bisping gives a bold prediction ahead of this weekend’s lightweight bout between Bobby Green and Islam Makhachev

This weekend’s UFC 49 Vegas card will feature a lightweight showdown between crowd favorite Bobby Green and Abdulmanap Nurmagomedov prodigy Islam Makhachev. Green heroically saved the card from collapsing when Beneil Dariush pulled out of the scheduled main event against Makhachev due to injury.

He recently posted a video on his Youtube channel, recapping this week’s MMA updates and took the platform to make a bold prediction, which might come as a surprise to many. It’s apparent by now that Islam is a heavy favorite going into this fight thanks to the sheer nature of his dominance.

Bisping made an intrepid claim stating that although it might not make sense to many, he believes that Green is very much capable of scoring one of the biggest upsets in modern-day MMA.

He said, “Call me crazy, but I think there’s a good chance that Bobby Green might pull this off.”

Many MMA fans and fighters are chewing on this hope and rooting for Green to pull it off.

Green is unfazed by the noise and has made his intentions loud and clear.

As for Islam, a win against Green might not be prominent on his path towards a memorable legacy but will hopefully ensure him a title shot.
