Michael Bisping slams Dillon Danis and his MMA record
Earlier this week, it was confirmed that the boxing fight between Ben Askren and Jake Paul has a date. The former UFC fighter will take on Paul on April 17th, 2021.
The fight will be fought under the Triller Fight Club banner. However, the location and fight-card is yet to be released.
Paul has for long been embroiled in a social media with a handful of MMA personalities in the past few months.
He wanted the attention of Conor McGregor, which he did not get. However, he managed to get a reaction out of Ben Askren, Michael Bisping, and Dillon Danis.
Out of the three, Askren bit the hardest and agreed to a fight. But in the past few days, all 3 of them were back in the mix again on social media.
Danis tweeted that he would beat both Funky and Paul on the same night, back to back. Bisping could only lament at what was unfolding before his eyes.
The former UFC middleweight champion tweeted that a YouTuber (Jake Paul), a wrestler (Ben Askren), and a Jiu-Jitsu guy (Dillon Danis) speaking about boxing is an insult to the sport.
Danis replied to it with a threat, and Bisping brought up the American’s MMA record. He said his Danis’ two wins have come against fighters with with a 2-5 and 2-4 records.
He also asked Danis to go and ‘shine Conor’s shoes’. Danis was the training partner of UFC icon Conor McGregor, and rose to prominence through his association with the Irishman.
Adding to that, he also exclaimed at the fact that El Jefe has fought just twice in 3 years. Danis has 2-0-0 MMA record, with both wins coming in Bellator.
