Bisping was proud of the UFC after Jake Paul and Co. caused a real ruckus at the first press conference between Logan Paul and Floyd Mayweather
Things got really ugly at the first press conference between Floyd Mayweather and YouTuber Logan Paul, yesterday.
Logan Paul had brought his brother Jake Paul with him, and he lived up to his nickname ‘The Problem Child’ once again.
It all went out of hand, when Jake and Mayweather went face to face in an intense staredown, both surrounded by their entourages.
That was when Jake decided to steal Mayweather’s cap. He got hold of Mr Money’s cap, and tried to run away.
All hell broke loose, as the Problem Child was caught by Mayweather’s entourage and was reportedly given a black eye, even as Mayweather was seen fuming and raging.
UFC Hall of Famer and current analyst Michael Bisping had had enough of this. And he condemned how the Paul brothers, Dillon Danis, and even Mayweather have turned the sport of boxing into a mere circus.
Bisping then drew comparisons with the UFC, calling it the only true arena in combat sports.
‘The Count’ wrote on Twitter:
“What a fucking joke. Between Floyd , Paul, dildo Dannis and all the other idiots. they turned the honorable sport of fighting into a fucking circus act. Well done to the ufc. Outside of a few boxing fights, it’s The last true arena for legitimate combat sports.”
Dillon Danis calls out Michael Bisping; Bisping hits back
Dillon Danis and Michael Bisping often feud on social media. Danis was once again seen calling out Bisping (in a now-deleted Tweet), saying that Bisping had cried when he had called him out once.
The Tweet which was quickly deleted by Danis, was however captured by a lot of fans, as they brought it to Bisping’s attention.
That’s when Bisping, one of the greatest trash-talkers in combat sports history, decided to give it back.
He tweeted:
“Glad you caught it hahahaa. Man that’s funny. That little weasel attention whore is really threatening me in a street fight? Haha I don’t fight in the streets, certainly against little boys but I’m undefeated on the mean streets of clitheroe!”
You don’t mess with the ‘Count’.
