Michael Bisping Returns to the Big Screen in ‘Den of Thieves 2

Former UFC champion and now acclaimed actor, Michael Bisping, is set to make his comeback in the highly anticipated sequel, ‘Den of Thieves 2: Pantera’. The 44-year-old star will reprise his role as Connor alongside Hollywood heavyweights Gerard Butler and O’Shea Jackson Jr.

Written and directed by Christian Gudegast, production for the action-packed film kicked off in April, with filming locations spanning Britain and the Canary Islands. The story picks up where the first film left off, following Detective Nick ‘Big Nick’ O’Brien (Butler) as he relentlessly pursues notorious criminal Donnie Wilson (Jackson), who finds himself entangled in the treacherous world of diamond thieves and the Panther mafia. Against the backdrop of a daring heist planned at the world’s largest diamond exchange, the tension reaches its peak.

Since hanging up his gloves in 2018, Bisping has shifted his focus to acting, and this upcoming sequel marks another milestone in his flourishing career. Previously, he made appearances in films such as ‘XXX: Return of Xander Cage’ and the revival of the iconic TV series ‘Twin Peaks’.

In an interview, Butler hinted at the exciting new direction of ‘Den of Thieves 2: Pantera’. He revealed, “We’re working on that script at the moment, and I’m getting pages daily from Christian. It’s a fun ride, spreading across North America into Europe and the diamond district of Marseilles. It’s very cool and has a more European vibe this time.” Fans can expect the return of beloved characters like Big Nick, Donnie, and Lobbin’ Bob (played by Jordan Bridges), promising a thrilling and action-packed sequel.

‘Den of Thieves 2: Pantera’ is set to captivate audiences once again with its gripping storyline and explosive action sequences. Bisping’s involvement adds another layer of excitement, as fans eagerly await his return to the big screen. The film promises to deliver an even more intense and adrenaline-fueled experience with its fresh European twist.

Michael Bisping advices Conor McGregor to get back into the USADA testing pool

The upcoming season of The Ultimate Fighter will premiere later this month. It is widely anticipated that head coaches Conor McGregor and Michael Chandler will compete against one another later this year.

No official date for the competition has been disclosed, though. Although it hasn’t been confirmed, many believe it’s because “Notorious” hasn’t yet returned to the USADA testing pool.

Michael Bisping sees a clear reason why progress has been slowed and wants to see that altered:

“In terms of a timeline, what are we in now? May, so six months you can fight at the end of the year. I think the idea was Madison Square Garden, that’s going to be Jon Jones and Stipe Miocic, judging by what everybody has been saying online. So the final card of the year [in December 2023], at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, they still have seven months for that, so McGregor just has to get in the  the testing pool. He’s got to get off whatever he is on. He’s got to get off the good stuff and get back on the protein shakes and the porridge.”
