Michael Bisping recently revealed that he had received a fight offer from Jake Paul
Jake Paul will be facing Tyron Woodley in his fourth professional boxing bout on the 28th of August. The weight class for the fight is 190lbs with 10-ounce boxing gloves inside a 20×20 boxing ring.
The fight also marks former Welterweight champion Woodley’s first professional boxing bout. And, this will be the first time Paul would be facing a proper combat sports striker in his boxing career.
Paul, who is coming off a victory against Ben Askren on the 17th of April, made many a callout between December 2020 and April 2021, and continued the same after his victory over Askren.
One among those Jake Paul had called out was UFC Hall of Famer, Michael Bisping. Bisping in his Believe You Me podcast, recently revealed that he was offered a hefty sum of $500,000 to fight the YouTuber.
“I was offered $500,000 to fight Jake Paul, so I would assume it’s probably more [for Woodley] if the fight’s happening.”
Woodley was recently released from the UFC, following a poor run in the welterweight division. The former champ will be a happy man come the 28th of August, when he walks home with a big purse.
And, Bisping reiterated the same in Believe You Me podcast. He told that he was happy for T-Wood, expecting him to get around $1 million for the fight.
“I’m happy for him…He might go out there and might be getting $1 million, and I couldn’t be happier for Tyron, because he really deserves it.”
