Michael Bisping Touts Conor McGregor as WWE’s Next Sensational Star

Former UFC middleweight champion Michael Bisping has ignited speculation by suggesting that UFC superstar Conor McGregor would be an impeccable addition to the WWE roster. Bisping believes that McGregor’s vibrant personality and immense popularity could make him a thriving sensation in the world of professional wrestling, potentially introducing a whole new audience to the sport.

With McGregor’s larger-than-life persona and devoted fanbase, Bisping sees a seamless transition for the Irish fighter from the octagon to the WWE ring. Recognizing McGregor’s astronomical stardom, Bisping views the crossover as a logical move, where fans of his MMA career would eagerly embrace his WWE endeavors.

As Bisping contemplates the switch, he acknowledges the physical toll of a long MMA career and highlights the entertainment prowess ingrained in McGregor’s DNA. The former middleweight champion envisions McGregor’s innate ability to captivate and entertain, making him a “born entertainer” for the world of professional wrestling. Speaking to Betway, Bisping stated:

“I can see Conor in the WWE, it’s all the same company these days. He’s a massive star,” Bisping told Betway. So if people want to watch him in MMA, they’ll want to watch him in the WWE, I think that’s a safe bet for him as well. You don’t want to take punches to the head forever. He’s a born entertainer. I can see that as a very natural fit.”

Should McGregor venture into the WWE, he would follow in the footsteps of fellow UFC legend Ronda Rousey, who made a groundbreaking move to the wrestling realm in 2017. Since her transition, Rousey has emerged as one of WWE’s brightest stars, securing multiple titles and captivating audiences worldwide.

As rumors swirl and fans speculate, the possibility of witnessing Conor McGregor’s charisma and showmanship in the WWE arena remains an enticing prospect. With both UFC and WWE under the same corporate umbrella these days, the world may soon witness a cross-promotional spectacle that could redefine the boundaries of sports entertainment.

Conor McGregor Puts Forward Surprising Perspective on Tyson Fury vs Francis Ngannou Boxing Match

Former two-division UFC champion Conor McGregor has offered an optimistic viewpoint on the upcoming crossover boxing match between Tyson Fury and Francis Ngannou. The much-anticipated fight is scheduled to take place on October 28 in Saudi Arabia, and while many fans have already written off Ngannou’s chances, McGregor believes “anything could happen” in the ring.

Fury’s recent struggles to secure a fight after the collapse of his undisputed heavyweight title clash against Oleksandr Usyk have left some questioning his readiness for the bout. McGregor, however, questions Fury’s current form and conditioning, considering the extended period of inactivity since his knockout victory over Derek Chisora in their trilogy fight last December.

Expressing his thoughts on the crossover fight, McGregor stated, “I’m interested, let’s see how it goes. I’ve not heard much about it, but I’m happy for Ngannou, fair play to him. What weight is Tyson? Is he in shape? Anything can happen in there, so I wish them both well and I’m excited to see it.”

Ngannou, who vacated his UFC heavyweight title in January in search of a lucrative boxing opportunity, signed with the Professional Fighters League (PFL) in May. This allowed him to compete in the ring while remaining under contract with the promotion. McGregor had initially criticized Ngannou’s move to PFL and downplayed the potential for a fight against Fury, but he now appears to have a more supportive stance.

Despite McGregor’s surprise endorsement, many still question the significance of the Fury vs Ngannou bout within the broader context of boxing. Fury’s clash with Usyk was highly anticipated and ultimately fell through, leading to skepticism regarding the appeal and legitimacy of the upcoming fight. However, McGregor’s unexpected optimism adds an intriguing twist to the conversation.
