Michael Chandler took a shot at casuals and haters while showering heaps of praise on Conor McGregor
Michael Chandler is one of the most explosive and entertaining fighters in the UFC right now. The lightweight who joined the promotion after dominating Bellator, is currently a top draw.
Despite currently being in a two-fight skid, Chandler is still confident about rising to the top. But before that, he has been entertaining a potential fight with an equally entertaining Conor McGregor.
In a recent appearance on Bussin’ with The Boys podcast, Chandler had words of praise for McGregor. Although, he did talk about how everyone talks about his wrestling being his Achilles heel, he went on to highlight what made the Irishman special.
Taking a shot at the casuals and haters, Chandler stated:
“His mental awareness capacity and stability inside of the octagon, inside the confines of competition, especially with how heightened the stakes and the senses are inside of his fights while everybody in the entire world is watching, is something to behold, man. He’s a different level of competitor, and anybody who discredits him because he’s lost fights is just either a casual or a Conor hater, to be honest with you.” [via MMA Mania]
Conor McGregor warns against new coronavirus strain
More recently, Conor McGregor took to Twitter to warn against the new coronavirus strain that has sprung up in South Africa and Botswana.
Taking to Twitter, McGregor wrote:
“Guys did you hear? We’ve to watch out for this Botswana yoke now. It sounds serious. It’s not protected against our vaccines also. “Vaccine laughed at” it said. Crazy! Chances of hitting the deck have now trebled again, so back in your box. This Message directly from tony baloni.”
As is customary, McGregor has already deleted the Tweet.
