Michael Chandler trolls Dustin Poirier by throwing away his hot sauce at Super Bowl party

UFC lightweight fighter Michael Chandler was hosting a Super Bowl party at his house this weekend, as most American football fans were.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers took on Kansas Chiefs at Super Bowl LV. All was going well for ‘Iron’ until someone brought Dustin Poirier’s hot sauce at his party.

Chandler hilariously uploaded an Instagram video of himself throwing the hot sauce in the trash, and captioned the video with “Audacity”. It was obviously a joke, and a pretty funny one indeed.

The next video saw him sneakily pick up Poirier’s Louisiana Style Hot Sauce from the dustbin and put it on his wings. Don’t worry, the bin was empty apart from the sauce and it isn’t as gross as it sounds.

He then took a bite and murmured that the sauce is actually pretty good. That’s some clever advertisement.

Hot sauce antic further proves Michael Chandler wants Dustin Poirier fight

Chandler has said multiple times that he there is no one he respects more than Dustin Poirier in the UFC. He has also indicated that he would love to share the octagon with him.

The Diamond, on the other hand, has rejected his advances. Poirier has been the centre of attention ever since he beat Conor McGregor at UFC 257.

‘The Diamond’ is definitely in line for a shot at the lightweight belt, although he has indicated his desire to complete a trilogy of fights with ‘The Notorious One’.

Chandler, on the other hand, was impressive on his debut at the same PPV. He overcame Dan Hooker with ease on the night.

A potential fight between Poirier and Chandler in the future could even be for the lightweight belt. Both of them look in the prime of their lives and headed to the same destination.
