Nick Diaz is preparing for a possible UFC return but Mike Perry launched into the veteran and his brother, Nate too
Mike Perry pulled no punches as he launched an astonishing attack on UFC star Nick Diaz.
The 37-year-old is planning a return to the UFC, possibly, in 2021 and footage has been shared of him looking ripped.
However, a return at this age could be a bit of a risk. His brother, Nate, has been doing well but hasn’t fought since losing to Jorge Masvidal for the BMF title.
Nick has certainly garnered the attention of many UFC fans but Perry certainly wasn’t impressed one bit.
Perry questioned the training that the Diaz brothers had received and also that Nate was beaten up recently:
Perry added that Nick’s “salt and pepper” punches wouldn’t worry him as he was a “power puncher”.
Platinum Perry even decided to share his game plan to take out the MMA veteran and called out Nick Diaz too:
The 28-year-old Perry even took a body shot at Nick by calling him “big” headed and added that was a target for him:
“Y’all look soft and your nose looks worse then mine. Your big head is a great target for this right hand old man. Look like you been riding ig horses with that stance. If you a gun slinger you shooting a 22”
He also hit out at Nate Diaz before suggesting that he was ready to face Nick, but the older Diaz wouldn’t do anything about this:
Perry has been in the wars recently too. He is one of the most interesting stars in the UFC and beat Mickey Gall in his last outing.
That made the news as his girlfriend was the corner-person for that clash. However, Perry also had an altercation in a restaurant in July 2020 where he laid out an old person with one punch.
Platinum was charged with class A assault and a misdemeanour too. While that goes on, it will be interesting to see who Nick fights next in the UFC.
He has been away from the sport for almost six years but he is planning a 2021 return.
