Mike Perry and Latory Gonzalez will be blessed with a baby boy in 2021 and it seems the UFC star already has plans for his son

Things didn’t go to plan for Platinum Mike Perry as he prepares to fight at UFC 255.

He had a bit of a meltdown on social media before the UFC 255 weigh-ins and missed weight by four and a half pounds.

Perry would be fined 30% of his fees, which would go to his opponent Tim Means, and The Schmo caught up with Platinum.

While Perry seemed to be in a better mood and claimed he would now have some juice and chicken sandwiches, he was also asked about the newest member of the family.

Perry and his girlfriend, Latory Gonzalez, will be blessed with a baby boy. The Schmo brought this up and asked if Perry wanted his son to get into the fighting game:

“Baby Ocean Michael will be reigning king and I hope he can pick up the computer, you know. I wouldn’t blame him if he was like his daddy. If he is a tough little dude and he picks fighting on his own, that is his choice.

“I will show him when he wants or whatever but I would rather see him just do some business on the computer.”

Grapple time

Perry was also asked for his plans to take on Means. Means is taller than Perry but Platinum was thinking of using his grappling but didn’t rule out using his fists too:

“Yeah, man. I think I am a world-class grappler and I don’t know what is wrong with me, I don’t know why I haven’t used it before in the past but still trying to hit him with the hammer too.”

This has been a bit of a crazy year for Perry and it will be interesting to see how he does against Means. Platinum might not have the greatest of times outside the Octagon, but he is dangerous when he is placed in the Octagon.
