Mike Perry and his partner Latory Gonzalez become parents after the birth of their son
UFC welterweight fighter Mike Perry announced on Wednesday that his partner, Latory Gonzalez, has given birth to their son.
The fighter took to his Twitter account to inform the fans of his new-born son. However, he had some scary details to share about the procedure.
Perry stated that the boy had trouble taking his first breath but everything was under control soon. He thanked the staff at Holtz Children’s Hospital, Miami, for their efforts in delivering the child successfully.
This news comes as a relief as just a few days earlier, Perry shared a worrying photo of himself. He was lying near a broken window with blood gushing out his leg after a supposed boat party.
In all honesty, Perry has never ceased to amaze fans with his antics, but it’s almost always been for the wrong reasons.
Earlier in 2020, he was suspended by the promotion following news of his assault on three people, which included an elderly man. However, Perry maintained that he did it as a reaction, and that he did not initiate it.
He was re-instated after he was asked by the promotion to seek help for his alcohol problems. Perry fought Tim Means at UFC 255, but lost the fight on judge’s decision.
But now, he says on Twitter that he wants to “heal” and “return with vengeance” so that he could make his new-born son proud.
We certainly hope that’s the case. He also says that he is “stronger than ever” in that tweet, and hopefully, he can regain his edge again and shift his focus back inside the octagon.
