Mike Perry has given his predictions for the top 3 fights in the UFC 263 main event
With the UFC 263 just a few hours away, a lot of pros have been giving their predictions. The event features a stacked main card, which has three 5-round fights.
The middleweight title bout between Israel Adesanya and Marvin Vettori headlines the event. The pair will be facing off in a rematch after the first match in 2018 went Adesanya’s way.
The co-main event is a flyweight title bout between Deiveson Figueiredo, the champion, and Brandon Moreno.
The third fight is a 5-round non-title fight between Nate Diaz and Leon Edwards. Diaz is returning to the Octagon after a gap of almost 2 years.
In the wake of this, UFC welterweight Mike Perry has given his predictions for the top 3 fights in the main card of UFC 263.
He picked the favourites from each fight viz. Leon Edwards, Deiveson Figueiredo and Israel Adesanya to win their respective fights.
“It’s UFC 263 day…Easiest of the fights to pick…I’ve got Edward Scissorhands [Leon Edwards]…And Figueiredo [Deiveson]…And I got Adesanya [Israel].
Mike Perry believes Conor McGregor will never become the champion again
Conor McGregor faces Dustin Poirier next month in a trilogy bout. Ahead of this bout Mike Perry gave his prediction for the fight.
In an interview with Helen Yee, Perry claimed that McGregor will never be the ‘old’ McGregor again.
He was quoted as saying:
“Conor’s getting tired again. I’m sure he is training and all this, but I don’t know what he is going to focus on, the calf kicks aren’t that big of a deal.
The trilogy bout headlines the main event of UFC 264, on the 10th of July.
