“That’s gonna be a bloodbath” – MLB star Carlos Correa shares his thoughts on Tony Ferguson vs Beneil Dariush

Baseball star Carlos Correa is excited for the upcoming clash between Tony Ferguson and Beneil Dariush at UFC 262

Ferguson might be an anxious but confident man right now. He has got his work cut out – not to lose!

To avoid being sent into oblivion, he must stop the number 9 ranked Iranian who has been running hot, of late.

‘El Cucuy’ is coming off two back-to-back losses at the hands of Justin Gaethje and Charles Oliveira at UFC 249 and UFC 256 respectively. A pure confidence shatterer!

Ferguson hasn’t backed down; he has amped up his training methods, improved his dieting pattern and has been breaking the sweat like a madman.

The sheer magnitude of the fight has got the MMA community and enthusiasts pumped up. And Houston Astros’ shortstop Carlos Correa is one among those.

The Schmo caught up with Correa, and asked him which fight he was looking forward the most to.

In no time, Correa said that it was the fight between Ferguson and Dariush, before going on to add that he hoped to see a bloodbath.

Correa said:

“That fight that I’m most excited about, I gotta say Tony Ferguson vs Dariush. I think that’s gonna be a bloodbath and I think they are going to go out there and go to war.”

Carlos Correa believes Tony Ferguson has his back up against the wall and not Conor McGregor

Ferguson and Conor McGregor’s games have taken a slight dip. Ferguson has been hit with the first two-fight skid of his career, while McGregor was knocked out for the first time in his MMA career, earlier this year at UFC 257.

Correa revealed in the same interview that it was Ferguson who ‘is in the last chance saloon’ and not the Irishman.

Correa explained:

“I think Tony Ferguson, because Conor McGregor at the end of the day, it’s the McGregor show…But Tony Ferguson with a three-fight losing streak [if he loses to Dariush], I don’t know where he goes from there.”
