Coach Javier Mendez is someone who has known Khabib Nurmagomedov personally for quite a long time
Khabib Nurmagomedov is one of the wealthiest and richest sports stars in the world.
Barring Conor McGregor, in the sport of mixed martial arts, the fortune, the Russian has accumulated is second to none.
He is a great businessman as well. Following his retirement in October 2020, Khabib bought the Gorilla Fighting Championship in no time (December 2020). He then renamed it Eagle Fighting Championship.
Today, he has a net worth close to $50 million, something other UFC fighters can only dream of.
In a recent Q&A session, Khabib’s coach and AKA gym founder Javier Mendez answered several questions about his greatest-ever client.
He was asked if money and fame changed Khabib. Mendez revealed that it changed Khabib for the good, before going on to state that it made ‘The Eagle’ more generous and kind.
Mendez was quoted as saying:
“Yes, he did change. He did change. 100 percent. He became more generous, a bit more kind to people. He was always kind but he became better with people. With more money, he became better.”
Khabib Nurmagomedov signs professional football contract with FC Legion Dynamo
Khabib Nurmagomedov is set to be a footballer soon. The Dagestani signed a professional football contract with FC Legion Dynamo.
The Russian football club plies its trade in the third-tier of the Russian Football League, and was founded just 6 years ago. It is based in Makhachkala, the capital of Dagestan.
The club offered Khabib a contract a couple of months ago, and ‘The Eagle’ has finally put pen to paper.
