Bo Nickal has fun with a fan who claims to have knocked him out at a past house party

Bo Nickal is soaking in the popularity he has gained from his brilliant performances at Dana White’s Contender Series. A collegiate wrestler with great credentials, Nickal is tipped to be the next big thing in the company. The sought-after MMA prospect has three wins as a professional fighter, all of which have come via finishes in the first round.

Following his quick submission victory over Donovan Beard at DWCS, Nickal took the opportunity to cash in on his freshly earned contract to call for a fight against Khamzat Chimaev and Logan Paul. Besides his polished fighting skills, Nickal has a great command of the audience and speaks with great confidence.

Most recently, a screenshot of a comment from YouTube surfaced on the internet of a fan claiming to have knocked out Nickal at a house party. The post read, “I ko’ed Bo Nickal in 2015 at a houseparty and I have it on video.

The fan did not back up his claim with video evidence. Nickal was amused by the post and had some fun of his own. He claims that the fan must have caught him clean with the knockout since he does not recall any memory of that incident.

“Cole must have starched me clean because I don’t even remember this happening 😭”

Bo Nickal reveals why he wants to fight Khamzat Chimaev

Following his second first-round victory at DWCS, Nickal made the best of the opportunity to call out Khamzat Chimaev. The undefeated Chechen has emerged as a rising superstar in recent times owing to his dominant fighting style and bold personality.

Speaking on The MMA Hour with Ariel Helwani, Nickal claimed that even though he respects Chimaev’s skillsets, he just envisions a strong chance for him to derail the undefeated fighter’s run:

“People will act like I’m talking crazy, because I say I’m ready to go. Chimaev, let’s get it. But the reality is this dude won three national titles in Sweden and then came into MMA and has 10 fights. I’ve been competing since I was 5. I had 120-plus NCAA wrestling matches. I won a U-23 world championship. I’m coming with 10 times the experience you have. So when people say, ‘You’re not ready, stay in your lane,’ y’all don’t know what the hell you’re talking about. So you’ll see what happens once we get in the cage.”

Nickal also said:

“He’s not willing to do the things that I’m willing to do. Yeah, he’s talented. Yeah, he has skills. But if that’s how you approach the sport, if that’s how you treat it, we’re on different levels.”
