Nate Diaz has shared his views on the upcoming UFC 272 main event, and also poked fun at Kamaru Usman
Nate Diaz is quite assertive when it comes to views about wrestling in MMA, and has mocked welterweight champion Kamaru Usman’s fighting style.
After earlier claiming that he still has doubts over the authenticity of the beef between Jorge Masvidal and Colby Covington, Diaz seems to have changed his mind. Ridiculing the champion Kamaru Usman, he also said that this fight is already better than the champion’s fights.
Here is what Diaz had to say:
“This fight already better than any of usmans lamess fights.”
The UFC is reportedly working on a fight for Nate Diaz against Dustin Poirier. The fan-favourite fighter is on a two fight losing streak, and has one fight left on his UFC contract.
Nate Diaz blasts Conor Mcgregor and shuts down talks of a trilogy fight
Nate Diaz rose to stardom after he famously sunk in a million-dollar choke on Conor Mcgregor at UFC 196. His two fights with the Irish man made him a luminary, and his cult following has grown thanks to that.
Although a trilogy fight between the duo makes complete sense at this point business-wise, Nate Diaz isn’t too keen on the idea of an immediate match with Mcgregor when he returns from his injury. He made it quite clear by putting out a tweet reacting to Dana White’s interview on TMZ, when asked about this fight.
It seems that Diaz has his sight set on a fight against Dustin Poirier, and explore free-agent waters after that.
