Conor McGregor intervened while Dustin Poirier and Nate Diaz were trading jibes on Twitter
Nate Diaz hilariously trolled Conor McGregor’s broken ankle if he stepped inside ‘The Stockton Slugger’s zone.
Diaz and Dustin Poirier have been going at it for a while. Earlier today they were having one such Twitter exchange, and that’s when McGregor decided to step in.
He tweeted that he was entertained by their back and forth and urged them to keep going.
“Hahahahah continue going, I am entertained.”
Diaz was having none of it. No chill from ‘The West Coast Gangster.” He posted a Tweet with a ‘Shush Emoji” and a GIF of the wheelchair guy from Scary Movie 2, mocking McGregor’s broken ankle.
McGregor had broken his ankle at UFC 264 during the end of the first round – in his trilogy fight against Dustin Poirier.
He ended up being carried on a stretcher, and was operated on, the next day. The Irishman is currently recovering.
Jake Paul interested in fighting Nate Diaz and not “Drunk Conor McGregor”
Jake Paul is only a couple of weeks away from his crunch fight against Tyron Woodley. The YouTube star will be entering his fourth professional fight against the former UFC champ on the 29th of August, at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse in Ohio.
Speaking in an interview with Mike Bohn of MMA Junkie, Paul was asked about his ambitions of fighting Nate Diaz.
While Paul claimed that he was ready to fight Diaz anytime, he stated that he would never fight a “Drunk Conor McGregor.”
Here is what Paul had to say:
“I have no idea if that’s his intention, you know. I think that’s a huge fight between us and I’m ready for that, any time, anyone, any place. But yeah, I think Nate Diaz vs Jake Paul, you know, is probably more interesting than a Jake Paul versus drunk Conor McGregor fight right now.”
