Khabib Nurmagomedov and Nate Diaz have never met inside the Octagon
Despite Khabib Nurmagomedov coming across as a humble and a non-trash talking man, he does have foes and rivals in the fight game.
The most notable one among them is Conor McGregor. The pair clearly hate each other and have no mutual respect whatsoever.
‘West Coast Gangster’ and UFC Welterweight Nate Diaz isn’t someone who is impressed with the works of the retired Dagestani, as well.
In fact the pair had a run in a couple of years ago, when Diaz mocked several members from Khabib’s crew at a UFC event.
Prior to that, Khabib and his crew clashed with the Diaz brothers and their crew at WSOF 22, back in 2015.
More recently, Diaz tweeted:
“That kabobs full of shit.”
Despite Diaz plying his trade in the lightweight division (although he has fought equally in the welterweight division as well), he has never faced Khabib inside the Octagon.
Now that Khabib has retired, fight fans have been left wondering what would have happened, had the match between the two gone down.
Conor McGregor fires shots at Khabib Nurmagomedov as well
Khabib appeared on Mike Tyson’s Hotboxin’ Podcast and had a few angry words to say about Conor McGregor’s jiu-jitsu coach Dillon Danis.
McGregor took it personally, as there has been an online battle already going on between himself and Khabib.
Taking to Twitter, McGregor wrote (now-deleted Tweet):
“I wanna eat his children!!!! When’s the last time he’s even seen them actually? His wife? Mother? How bout you go spend some time with your kids and family for a change and keep my name out of your mouth b4 you get trapped somewhere again you mightn’t be so lucky next time.”
