Mixed martial arts legend Nick Diaz looks unidentifiable in a recent picture posted by a fan
Nick Diaz has been on a public hiatus ever since he historically returned to the UFC octagon at UFC 266, after a six-year lay-off.
Diaz is widely regarded as the pioneer of integrating fitness and cardio into MMA and utilizing his endurance to drown opponents. The legendary Diaz pressure and output was missing at UFC 266, although ‘The Stockton bad boy’ showed glimpses of his stellar boxing skills. He lost the fight against Robbie Lawler by TKO.
A recent picture of him was posted by a fan on Twitter when he spotted the OG of the fight game in public.
Diaz is evidently unrecognizable in this new avatar. As for his return back to fighting, it looks highly unlikely in the near future.
Where is Nick Diaz?
Nick Diaz was last seen in the octagon against Robbie Lawler at UFC 266. Fans of Diaz were concerned for his mental and physical health following his unsettling interview with Brett Okamoto and his overall performance on fight day.
Since then he has been on a vacation to Hawaii with his rumored girlfriend and is taking some time away from the anxiety he had building up to fight week.
He was also most recently seen attending a TOOL concert with his brother Nate and team from the Nick Diaz Academy.
Nick and Nate have both been long time fans of the band and it’s good to see the elder brother enjoy some time off.
