Paul Felder will be present for UFC 251 but has to be under quarantine for a couple of days
UFC Lightweight star Paul Felder will travel to Abu Dhabi for UFC 251. The latest UFC event takes place at Fight Island which is located at the Yas Island near Abu Dhabi.
Many of UFC staff and media have made it to the UAE a full week before UFC 251. Helen Yee had posted her travails at Fight Island after reaching the location, and Felder also seems to be planning what to do over the two days.
All those who are reaching the hotel at Fight Island have to spend two days in quarantine. They are being tested also after reaching the spot and all the luggage is being sanitized as well.
Felder posted an update that he was off to Las Vegas before making the switch to Abu Dhabi. However, he seems set for some training:
“Well off to Vegas then #FightIsland I wonder how many push ups and sit ups I can do in 48 hours.”

Felder might have to do more than that to pass the time but UFC 251 is almost here.
Felder looking to get back
The Lightweight’s last clash was against Dan Hooker in February 2020. Felder lost that clash to the Kiwi star but his curse still lives on.
Hooker lost his next fight to Dustin Poirier and Felder has spoken about returning to the ring. While he hasn’t fought since the loss to Hooker, Felder is keen on returning and confirmed recently that he isn’t retired.
The 35-year-old has a record of 17 wins and five losses but has never won a title in the UFC. Felder spoke about returning after the brilliant Hooker vs Poirier fight, and it will be interesting to see what happens next for him.
