Conor McGregor looks back to his best as he resumed training after losing to Dustin Poirier

Former UFC two-division champion, Conor McGregor, got back to training after a loss to Dustin Poirier.

This was the main event at UFC 257 as Poirier got revenge on his loss a few years back. This was a great performance from The Diamond but McGregor getting knocked out was something that not many expected.

The Irishman also suffered some brutal kicks to his leg and had trouble dealing with Poirier in the second round.

McGregor was magnanimous in defeat but was back to doing what he does best a few days later. He was seen using a digger and then had some fun on a fishing trip, but things have gotten serious now.

The Irishman claimed that he wasn’t going to be a nice buy any more and was pictured training hard.

McGregor was on his bike and looked shredded in all this and posted “go again, go harder”.

Conor McGregor vs Dustin Poirier 3 on the cards

Poirier and McGregor both have confirmed that they are keen on doing the third fight and settle the score since it is 1-1.

Dana White has also hinted that this fight should take place and the only discussion seems to be when. Of course, the other aspect is if the UFC Lightweight title will be on the line or not.

Khabib Nurmagomedov had retired almost four months back after defeating Justin Gaethje. However, he has no wish of returning, for now. The Russian has stated that he doesn’t want to hold up the division but White hasn’t taken the belt off the Eagle yet.

Many have brought up how McGregor vs Poirier 3 would be a great fight and former UFC Champion Tyron Woodley has also backed this fight for the money.

McGregor is a box office draw whenever he fights and it will be interesting to see when he is back in action.

The Irishman might have made a few mistakes against Poirier but he could erase those in his next meeting with Poirier.
