Conor McGregor seems to have a huge arm as he continues his training regime
UFC great Conor McGregor has been posting a lot of updates regarding his training and caught the attention of many with his latest one.
The Irishman might have lost to Dustin Poirier at UFC 257 but has vowed to come back stronger. Dana White has confirmed that a third fight between the two is in the offering and that could take place in the summer.
However, McGregor is wasting no time in getting back to fitness. He was destroyed by Poirier’s kicks in that fight and recently posted a video of him kicking a pole.
McGregor also was seen cycling vigorously a few days after the clash and it seems he is bulking up a bit. This could just be tactics to send a message to Poirier but McGregor’s arm looked extremely huge in this picture.
The Irishman posted the same with the caption “Get jacked and get it back! @mcgregorfast”.
McGregor also recently pointed out how his short jabs were getting to Poirier, and it is to be seen how the third fight could go.
Conor McGregor back to his cocky self?
One aspect that many spoke about after his loss to Poirier was how respectful McGregor was throughout the rivalry.
That all seems to have gone down the window for now. McGregor promised he wasn’t going to be the nice guy any more and recently hit out at Floyd Mayweather Jr.
The boxer missed out on the Forbes Highest-Paid athletes list for 2020 while McGregor was the only MMA star in the top 60.
A cocky and brash McGregor is great for TV and for the UFC. He always sells PPVs but this version of McGregor gets the fans talking.
It is to be seen when he will fight Poirier next but that could be for the UFC title. Khabib Nurmagomedov retired from the UFC but still has the Lightweight belt.
It seems unlikely he will be back and Dana White has confirmed that an unofficial Lightweight tournament could decide who the champion is.
