Ramiz Brahimaj almost got his ear taken off completely in his last UFC fight
Max Griffin vs Ramiz Brahimaj will be remembered for a horrible ear injury suffered by one of the stars in the fight.
This battle took place at UFC Fight Night 182 and it was Griffin who got the win after Brahimaj’s ear was all sliced up.
Brahimaj was also hit with a few low blows in this clash but the ear was the worst part of all this. An elbow from Griffin sliced up Brahimaj’s ear and was dangling as the referee had to step in and stop the battle.
This wasn’t the first such incident of a horrific injury taking place in the UFC and it was incredible that Brahimaj kept on fighting.
However, the 28-year-old seems to have had a lot of work done on his ear and posted a photo comparing it to a food item.
Brahimaj was still in fighting mood after the loss and claimed his ear injury was just a “flesh wound” after the battle.
However, his ear seems to have healed up well and the 28-year-old also replied to a question on when he was planning to return.
March or April 2021 was the date confirmed by the American, and it will be interesting to see who he battles next.
This was Brahimaj’s third MMA loss and he now holds a record of eight wins and three losses. The American might have been a little downbeat after losing his UFC debut but great things could be in store for him.
Brahimaj would be someone to keep an eye out for and it is great that his ear seems to be healed up, even though it looks nothing like it did a few weeks back.
