Tony Ferguson is set to become a father again as he posted a picture of an ultrasound of his son
Tony Ferguson is set to become a father, again, as he posted some great news on social media. El Cucuy already has a son, Armand Anthony, with his wife Cristina Ferguson.
However, the UFC star is set to be blessed with another baby boy. Ferguson posted a photograph of an ultrasound image, and as usual, he had his own set of captions to go along with it.
Ferguson called him his “campeon” and added that the doctor said his new son was doing well. This was a more grounded caption on his social media account, and well, we wish Ferguson all the best for the newest member of the family.
Ferguson has often posted videos alongside Armand and even spoke about how his son helped him through one tough situation.
This happened in the fight against Charles Oliveira. The Brazilian had Ferguson locked in a tight armbar but El Cucuy didn’t tap.
He didn’t even break his arm and was able to continue the fight. Ferguson posted a long message regarding this and highlighted how Armand helped him out:
“My arm is alright. The armbar was really tight. The thought of my son Armand Anthony’s ability to be double-jointed in his elbow during that sequence and my mental capacity to endure pain got me through it.”
What is the next fight for Tony Ferguson?
While El Cucuy has lost his last two bouts, there is no stopping him. He was open to fighting Khabib Nurmagomedov, a fight that has been cancelled five times now.
Further, El Cucuy is still a top contender in the Lightweight division. However, he might not be in the title scene after two big losses.
Ferguson also cut short any talks of him retiring after the Oliveira loss. It is to be seen who Ferguson fights next but the Lightweight division is stacked with quality.
Dan Hooker could be one rival for Ferguson. The Hangman is also coming off a huge loss to Michael Chandler, and this match up would allow one of the two to break their losing streak.
