Conor McGregor might have lost at UFC 257 but he took some time off with his family

Conor McGregor doesn’t seem to be smarting after his loss at UFC 257 as he enjoyed some time with his family.

The Irishman was knocked out by Dustin Poirier in their rematch from UFC 178. McGregor also was on the end of some devastating kicks and was left using crutches after the clash.

However, his leg seems to be fine after all this and the Irishman seems to be taking some time off. McGregor posted several photos and a video of his wife and son enjoying a trip on a yacht. The Irishman was relaxing on a similar boat before the Dustin Poirier fight and this time, he was busy fishing.

McGregor, and his family, certainly seemed to be having a lot of fun at Moon Island. The former UFC two-division champion also caught hold of a fish, though it wasn’t the biggest one in the sea.

Nevertheless, it was great to see McGregor looking good after his dusting from Dustin. This was the first time McGregor had been knocked out but he was back up on his feet a day or two after the fight.

McGregor might have lost in a stunning fashion at UFC 257 but the Irishman still believes he has a lot left in him.

Dustin Poirier vs Conor McGregor 3 on the cards?

McGregor was quick to push the buttons for a trilogy against Poirier. The score is 1-1 and McGregor and the Diamond could meet for a third time.

The stakes would be higher though as this could be a title shot. Dana White seems keen on setting this up for the Lightweight gold while Poirier hasn’t shut down these suggestions.

However, the Diamond is also taking some time off, as he was off for a vacation too. Poirier added that he wasn’t going to chase fights and would let things play out.

He categorically denied wanting to fight Michael Chandler. The former Bellator star won on his UFC debut but the Diamond believes Chandler hasn’t done enough to get a title shot.

Poirier was open to seeing Chandler vs Charles Oliveira for the title as he keeps calling himself the uncrowned champion.
