Rafael Fiziev saw off his former training partner Brad Riddell in the co-main event of UFC Vegas 44.
Just when it looked like the fight was heading to the judges’ scorecards for the decision, Fiziev executed a stunning spinning wheel kick catching Riddell completely by surprise.
Riddell’s body completely shut down on impact. He stood dazed for a couple of seconds before sinking to the floor.
This was Fiziev’s 5th straight win in the UFC and is surging in the lightweight rankings.
Known for his fancy callouts, Fiziev called out veteran Hollywood actor Vince Vaughn who was one among the attendees at the UFC Apex.
“His name – Vince Vaughn…Yeah I love him.”
Fiziev then signalled at Vaughn who appeared to be down for his challenge.

At UFC 265, Rafael Fiziev beat Bobby Green via. unanimous decision. Following his victory he called out Internet sensation Hasbulla out for a fight.
No stranger to callouts, the Russian blogger has been called out by a number of fighters in recent times.
Hasbulla’s popularity rose so much to the point that he was the special guest at UFC 267 which was held in Fight Island, Abu Dhabi in October 2021.
