Marc Goddard left saddened by “circus” surrounding Jake Paul vs Floyd Mayweather

Jake Paul was all over Floyd Mayweather at the Logan Paul – Mayweather press conference

‘The Problem Child’ was up to his usual notorious Disney boy tricks, during the press conference between Mr Money and Logan Paul, as he stole Mayweather’s cap – NO CAP!

A chaotic situation followed, as Mayweather’s entourage almost physically attacked Paul to the point of giving him a black eye.

Pretty Boy Mayweather was seen fuming, hurling abuses at Paul for such a petulant act. The ‘Gotcha Hat’ moment went viral in a jiffy and had people from all over the world buzzing.

A lot of people got to witness a ‘haired’ Mayweather for the first time.

Veteran UFC referee Marc Goddard wasn’t a fan of how things played out, as he posted a couple of tweets taking aim at the Paul brothers and the trivialness they have brought to the already dying boxing.

Goddard first tweeted:

“I think the real sadness in all of this is just how trivial boxing now looks. In what other sport could a social media “star” walk in at the top? I look forward to seeing Jake Paul in the Real Madrid starting XI next month, or his brother in F1? Please stop. #circus”

He then quote tweeted his own tweet, seeming visibly dejected in his words, calling for a line to be drawn.

Goddard wrote:

“Call me snobby, elitist or over sensitive but I’ve always thought the same. In a sport where people have literally given their life, to see it trivialised for nothing but clicks, views & financial gain seems alien to me. I’m all for “each to their own” but let’s draw a line.”

Michael Bisping furious with Jake Paul and co

UFC Hall of Famer and current commentator Michael Bisping was seething with rage and frustration after the Paul brothers – Mayweather incident.

Michael Bisping and Jake Paul

He accused the Paul brothers, Mayweather and the ever-beefing Dillon Danis of bringing shame to the sport of boxing, and was glad that the UFC isn’t debased and degraded by such acts of naivety.

The Count tweeted:

“What a fucking joke. Between Floyd , Paul, dildo Dannis and all the other idiots. they turned the honorable sport of fighting into a fucking circus act. Well done to the ufc. Outside of a few boxing fights, it’s The last true arena for legitimate combat sports.”

However, one must know that this is something which is not new in the life of the Paul brothers. They have plied their trade beefing with YouTubers, Disney Stars, and now they have just stepped their ‘beefing-skills’ up by earning the wrath of combat sports stars.
